If I remember correctly it's fairly easy to view any vbulletin site in PDA mode. Don;t ask me how to though. :(

i just use my smartphones so much more than i use my pc's, it would be easier. if nvnews formatted for mobile devices i dont know if i'd ever use my pc. :)

Well on most vbulletin sites the archive is usually in a special PDA friendly format. You can't post or edit, just view if I remember correctly.
This doesn't really help though as Nvnews' archive is broken it appears? http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/archive/index.php :(

maybe mikec could chime in with his thoughts. would it help if we could gauge a decent amount of interest in it?

Why not use Opera? Are you looking for a WAP rendering specifically? My Treo 650 used to run great over 1xRTT using Opera Mobile.

I use opera mini on my Sanyo MM-9000. Nvnews seems to work fine with it, and its free.
