Seems like we have allot of people that love anime. With new Eps and new series being released daily I think it could be a pretty busy forum. I know we have allot of big anime fans. It feels a little out of place posting about anime in the off topic section. I wanted to see what people would think about an anime sub forum. If something like that would be doable.

We really don't have that many that would post regularly. I know we had a thread about anime way back and it was only acouple people posting there.

I think it would do well. I know about 7 hardcore anime fans off the top of my head that would post like crazy. It would be MUCH more populated then the ATI or workstation forum.

True but in the Open Forum it would be out of place, We need a Movies/TV forum actually... Movie Trailers are often posted as are threads about latest episodes.

No anime. Maybe a TV/Film one. But honestly I don't really think we need it. Just use the Open. This is a hardware site after all. I mean we only have a HT thread because Nvidia cards work so well in HTPCs and evilchris needs a place he can mess up without bothering us.

Its still computers and hardware :P It takes a computer to watch the anime I watch because its not released in the US yet. And the only reason 1TB hard drives exist is obviously for anime storage. It also takes a really good PC to play back 1080HD Anime. Thats my excuse anyways lol.

Edit: And the thing with the open forum its soo over crowded you cant even have a good conversation about a topic unless you include the words FART, NSFW, or -=Gib-McFragger=- in the title.

i guarantee you, if an anime forum were made, it would be at least as active as most of the other forums.

not to mention, i need a place to talk about my anime ;)

I'm not sure what a sub forum is but an anime thread would work I think.

I was kinda hoping the film thread I started would really take off and get a 'Sticky'..

Nothing else animated annoys me as much as anime. Inanimate it's fine, but as soon as they start moving or talking, I want to bomb Japan.
