Hello everybody i have promised my elder brother's son to buy a new system if he has scored over 90% in his 8th grade, as he obeys and got the percentage, I bought one system for him, Core 2 duo processor 250 gb hdd, 1 gb ram. He was so happy and but his happiness ended when he installed his favorite game doom. Its not opening and the graphics are not clear he was so upset with me that he could nt play his game, I came to know about graphic card and also found the best is NVIDIA, for playing doom game which graphic card is suitable i need to install that also for the kid , i expect a swift reply on this .

I'm not up to date on American prices but give the man some price estimates on the mainstream models.

Twistedmoron, It's obvious that English is likely not the OP's first language. They are trying to instill a sense of urgency.

depending on how much money you want to spend 8600GT or, if you want to spend a bit more 8800GTS, if money is no object 8800GTX or Ultra
