View Full Version : Marion Jones .... Olympic drug cheat
she has admitted to using the Clear and pled guilty to lying under oath about her use of steroids. she will lose her medals from the 2000 Olympics and likely be banned for life, not to mention spend time in jail. i wonder what prompted her to finally admit her guilt after all these years:

it's too bad for the athletes that were clean when they competed. they have been denied the moment that all athletes strive to achieve:

I have to give her praise for the boldness and audacity to stand before millions and smiling knowing full well she is a cheater. And she did it for many years. What takes the cake though is that press conference which she had and seem very angry at the fact many thought she was cheating. What a damn shame but its good its all coming out now. I guess they got her pretty good this time around or someone got her on tape why she is so quick to now talk.
Give her praise? She cheated. The other athletes who did not were screwed out of the race. This is outrageous that these athletes can so carelessly mess with these competitions. Take her medals from her and and ban her from competing. I hate this type of crap. If you can't win on God given talent and hard work then don't compete.
BTW she lied in her autobiography. She said she NEVER took any performance enhancing drugs. She lied. I give her NO praise. She is a cheater and a liar. She is doing this now to stop any further damage to her self.

No kidding. She is pathetic. Just another athlete that has been babied since it was discovered she had this talent.

I know the media talk about this has died down, but I still feel sorry for her. Having done nutritional programs for athletes I can tell you that many don't know what they are taking. Many of them have no interest in learning about nutrition, why would they if there's a nutrition professional advising them on their meals and feeding them supplements? Anyway... here's more video on this: http://gloob.tv/sports/jones_admits_steroid_use?article=1976 I am glad to see the awareness of steroid abuse increase. There's really a lot to be said for simple, clean living.

Just an Idea. Why not just have an Olympics Unlimited version. You can do as much steroids as you like. And compete in the same sceduled events.
Heck if you actually feel that most Olympic athletes are or haven't done some kind of performance enhancing substance. I think your kidding yourself. Heck you can even Call Creatine Monohydrate a performance enhancing substance.
