Losing PS2 Mouse & Keyboard
Need help.

I keep losing the PS2 Keyboard & Mouse after rebooting when I change my xorg.config file to support 4 displays. 2 display is fine. USB keyboard & mouse is fine. Problem is my KVM is PS2.

System Config:
(2X) Intel Xeon Dual Core 5160 3.0GHz CPU
SuperMicro X7DA8+ Motherboard
4GB (4 x 1GB) PC2-5300/DDR2-667 FB ECC RAM
Asus GF 8800GTS w/ 640MB - PCI-E x16
Asus GF 8600GT w/ 256MB - PCI-e x16 (x4)
(1X) Western Digital 200GB SATA Hard Drive
Creative SB Audigy 2 ZS PCI Sound Card
Intel 4-Port PCI NIC

Red Hat EL WS v4 - 2.6.9-55.0.9
Nvidia 100.14.19 Driver

Please help.

Re: Losing PS2 Mouse & Keyboard
By losing your PS2 mouse and keyboard, do you mean it works for a bit then stops working and will not work again until you reboot?

If this is the case, (KVM or not) it could be the power supply. I have seen this a couple times. Replacing the power supply (usually with a beefier one) fixed the problem.

Re: Losing PS2 Mouse & Keyboard
Thanks for replying.

Right after loading the Nvidia 100.14.19 driver and rebooting, I have no PS2 keyboard & mouse functionality (not using the KVM). Plug a USB keyboard / mouse in and the system works fine. I downgraded back to Nvidia 100.14.11 & 100.14.09 drivers and there is no problem. I just can't get the 2 older drivers to work on 4 displays.
