Hi,

I have 4 request for you :

- nvidia website links about linux driver are not up to date

- I have some problems whith your new audio driver : I can 't get one of my two rear speakers working (it works nice whith alsa one), note that I am using analog output.

- Do you have some trips to make all the usb ports working because i have this error :

Do you have PNP/OS set to "no" in your SBIOS?

I'm hoping very soon. I know that's a frustrating answer, but it's the best I can give at this point. As soon as I can tell you exactly, I will. It's not something we're ignoring by any means.

Are there new nforce drivers that you are referring to? Since you mentioned about agpgart for non-nvidia cards, I'm assuming you are not referring to the video drivers.

Thank's Andy, I will submit my audio problem to nvidia soon. For my usb problem, I'm not using pnp bios, I know this tips, but it's not that.
And thank's for your reply.

For suexec : no, I'm not refering to video drivers but to nforce drivers, there is a new release ( 1.0-0256), on the nvidia web site, but don't use the link "Linux and FreeBSD Drivers", use menu.

Is it possible to compile the 256 release of the nforce drivers under Red Hat 9? Cant quite seem to get it to work. Using the source rpms doesnt help either. This is just driving me since Im so close to having my digital out working on my A7N8X and it wont cooperate

I couldnt get 2.4.21pre7 or 2.4.21pre7ac1 to boot on my abit nf7s.

Can you post your /usr/src/linux-2.4/.config here?

I think you will see something strange like :

CONFIG_AGP_NV=y

It s a little patch for enabling nforce agp but it doesn't work at this time.
