Fedora 8 - 64-bit - Resolution Problem Please Help
Hey guys,

im new on this new Linux o/s, as its my first which i really plan to use, well here is my problem.

the resolution on my srceen is too big, basically i have a 32" HDTV Philips which is connected to my 7900GTX through a dvi to hdmi cable,

now when i installed fedora the resolution was at 1024*768, which is what i had on xp so i was fine with it, i downloaded the latest nvidia drivers and installed them fine, now i cant chose that res anymore, all i have is 1280*720, 800*600 and some low ones, on 1280*720 (which is set atm) my screen is cut off, basically i need to guess where pretty much everything on the top menu or bottom task bar is, as i can not see them but still click on them.

i i have the up to date kernel and driver, some people have said to change my xorg.config file. i think that file for me is messed up, this is what it looks like.
