Flashing graphics card BIOS under Linux
Is this still the recommended way of flashing the BIOS under Linux? Basically using WINE and some NiBiTor utility put out by nvidia:
Would it just be better to go ahead and install Windows on that machine? Would I be able to play with the graphics card BIOS more reliably if I did that?
Also, I've seen reference to nVidia BIOS editors that are mostly used by overclockers. I guess if I installed Windows (assuming it's not available on Linux) I could install one of these and poke around... I'm interested in TV out settings on the graphics card. Has anyone seen any setting like if the graphics card is in Component or S-Video tv-out mode inside these BIOS editors?
What's the best BIOS editor to install?
