Fedora 8(Xwindows) Resolution problems @ 1080p

So i am hoping somebody here can assist me with this because i am out of ideas...

I got Fedora 8 Installed and fully updated with the newest Nvidia drivers for my 6800.

The PC is hooked up to my Samsung 1080P DLP TV from DVI->HDMI.

Nvidia's X Server configuration see's it properly as a Native Resolution of 1080p.

I set the resolution to 1920x1080 and portions of the screen on all 4 sides of my TV are off of the screen. I am 99.9% sure this is due to Aspect ratio and it being a widescreen but i could be wrong and dont know how to change it.

I know this all works @ 1080p, i ran Windows MCE for a very long time, and i also tried some MythTV Distro's and everything worked perfectly fine at 1080p.

Any help?

and now try without:
HorizSync 15.0 - 68.0
VertRefresh 59.0 - 61.0

and
Option "metamodes" "1920x1080_60 +0+0; nvidia-auto-select @1920x1080 +0+0"

does something change?

I forgot to mention its also clipping on just the console before i am even in Xwindows, so its likely not an Xwindows issue now that i think about it..

My TV is 16:9 standard..whats funny is i also tried 4:3 and its still clipping the sides now its just letterboxed...

I got an aquos 1080p today. While I haven't been able to get 1080p to work, when I had 1080i set, it clipped around the edge. The TV had to be set to 'Pixel by pixel' or something like that for it to display the whole picture.
