OGL + TwinView

Reading through the errata on the new 4363 drivers, and it says that OGL will only display on the first display of Xinerama systems. I was also under the impression that TwinView was Xinerama based. Thing it, my full-screen OGL apps (UT and UT2k3) have this tendency to be displayed split between the monitors. Needless to say, this makes the game unplayable. I have finals to do, so I shouldn't be playing games anyway, but I was just wondering if anyone has run into this, or if there was a way to fix it?

This errata?

That one doesn't say anything about Xinerama...

For the problem, it sounds like the games that are running aren't Xinerama-aware, or something... Or maybe the window manager doesn't work well with Xinerama? Well, no, the WM shouldn't matter much. Hmm...

OpenGL and Dual Card/Monitor Setup

Hiya,

just wondering why I can't get OpenGL to work on my second monitor. I have a GF4 Ti4200 AGP as primary and a GF2 MX PCI as secondary card. Both use the nvidia driver. Neither of the cards is a twinview card.
Now everytime I try to run an OpenGL application in the second monitor, I see absolutely nothing ...
I saw in the driver readme somewhere that OpenGL is not supported with Xinerama in a second display, but can anyone explain why this is? My windows install on same hardware does work with OpenGL over both screens ...

Any answer would be appreciated.

System Specs:
Debian Unstable Kernel 2.4.20
nVidia 43.63 Driver
GF4 Ti4200 AGP
GF2 MX PCI

I tried to attach my XF86Config-4 file, but I didn't see the option in edit mode, so here it is ... :
