if i was into PVP still i might. the game lost it's fun for me a long time ago somewhere between kill 6 of these and bring me 10 of those.

pvp was the only thing interesting after that, and to many retard players ruin it for me atm

there really isnt anything else out there, AoC was the only new mmo to come out but its not going to hurt WoW numbers. I honestly dont see anything hurting WoW other then blizz themselves at this point, people are getting tired of the same old things, but for most they rather stay with WoW then to start a character over doing the same thing. I havent really played since Feb and dont plan to get back into it until wrath comes out probably, but Im getting bored of the game style MMO's keep leaning towards, I want something new thats not quest driven... collect, kill, escort quests are old and its the main reason I couldnt get into AoC, the quests just didnt interest me.

I wouldnt mind playing mmo where me and my friends from level 1 we can go right into a dungeon and have fun exploring, killing and collecting rare / random loot like the good diablo days.

Man I can't believe I forgot, what is the lvl cap now ?

And everyone will create a Death Knight right off the bat, well I will :)

But it has been awhile that I have played WoW so it might be fun when the expansion hits.

firehawk... so you pretty much dont like mmo rpg games in general, and even online game? ;)

Everyone who plays wow..will get the expansion. Its not likely to bring in new players though. I'm sad that blizzard is neglecting its low level game though. Everquest was able to bring in new players and revitalize the interest of making alts because most of its expansions offered tons of low and mid level zones along with its high end raid content. Blizzard hasn't added any new 1-60 content, some of it has become useless (lvl 60 raids) because of attunements and the now bunk 40 man requirements.

If blizzard has realised this yet, I'm not sure, how ever they made death knights start at lvl 55, so that could be saying alot. Maybe they figured not to many would bother leveling another character from lvl 1 again.

The game was good back ages ago..i played soo many hours on this game..After Season 3 Arena came..i felt it was a bit boring.....the lack of graphics update/etc or new arena types or a more new bg or something to keep it in interesting as pvp was my main interest in the game...

I played since day one and only recently did i cancel my subs...expired on May 19th :O...

I don't think i will be getting into it either...i no longer have the time needed in order to advance in the game due to work/studies...before i hardly did any work...let alone studies -.-...dark years...

I had some really good times with the game though, met alot of people overseas and in Australia which i pvp'ed with...good times...but all good times must come to an end ><..luckily the game did that on its own for me..

I quit WOW this week after playing since December 2004, and I have absolutely NO plans on getting the expansion. The first expansion was a huge leap in the wrong direction, and I honestly see nothing worth my time in the next one. Warhammer Online will be out by then anyways and it looks to be a game that appeals more to the way I want to play.

nah...i did. they can be fun with the right people still, but even then i don't play for the game. i play to hang out and have a fun time just shooting the ****.

once you do the same thing 3 times (i ended up with 3 70's :|) you suddenly realize your just doing the same three tasks over...sorta like when your a kid and you realize santa isnt real...thats sorta how it was for me.

i just need a "new" type of mmo to get me interested again

I'll follow the news about WotLK but currently I don't plan on playing WoW again. We'll see.

depends on how much pvp content there is. I mean what, 4 years later and we still have 4 BG maps, 3 lame arena maps and hardly any world pvp objectives. Pretty pathetic on their part being that cash cow they have and have added **** for content.

So yes, if it's a worth while xpack, I'll reactivate my account possibly and play some more. Like the others tho, havent been following this though, so maybe there is a crap load of content. Graphical update would be nice also.

I'll admit, im currently in a guild who is currently working on reliquary of souls, so we have the means and the manpower to do end game content and are working our way to new content for us, if your not in a guild that is really doing anything more then kara and struggling for people to start 25 man's, it can get pretty stale.
