Support for GeForce FX 5600 GO?

Hi,

I wanna buy a notebook with GeForce FX 5600 GO but I really don't know if this chip is supported by the current driver because it's not mentioned in the readme but I've read that the mobile-version of the 5600 (aka GO) is pretty much the same as the "normal" version.

So if there is support for this chip (I hope so :-) what's about the nice mobile features with different voltages, speeds ect.!?

TIA, bodomchild

Yes, it's supported. The README is out of date.

edit: I'll also double check for you. :)

Thanks a lot Andy!

So I also read the readme twice and found out, that generally the energy-saving options are not available in the current drivers. Is this also true for the new FX 5600 GO? (I'm just asking because you wrote, that the readme is out of date and so maybe there's hope that the important energy-saving features can now be used within GNU/Linux!?)
