Problems loading GLX module.
log says:

Card is GF2PRO
XFree is 4.3.0

Hints or solutions would be very much appreciated.

it sounds like part of the NVIDIA_GLX package was hosed on your system. I've seen this happen when XFree86 is upgraded. Perhaps you've recently upgraded to 4.3?

Try reinstalling the NVIDIA_GLX package and see if that helps any ..
