I guess there aren't a lot of folks with the 260 then?

I hit about 625 core, 1400 mhz shader, and 1.1 Ghz on the memory with my engineering samples in a 3 way SLI configuration. Seperately they would probably clock a little higher stable.

The 260's OC pretty well actually, you can clock them above 700MHz in a lot of cases :D
It really all comes down to the shader clock, they hit a wall around 1500MHz or so. |
Re: What kind of OC's you guys getting with 260 gtx?
I haven't put much time testing but I did go 700/1420/1100. Played tf2 and COD4 for about two hours nothing demanding, but I think I have a good one. Temps are very good, and never went above 63 degrees.
I will see how far it will go on load with crysis and post back tomorrow. I had no idea this card was so freaking huge, I have a lian li mid tower and had to remove the hd cage.. |

None, mine died :(
Returned it today, going back to my 8800gt and adding a second one, they're cheap as dirt :) |
Re: What kind of OC's you guys getting with 260 gtx?
730|2600 1532 is best I can do. I can make short runs up to higher core clocks briefly. I've seen guys on other forums hitting 760 on the core, and that's not typical.
Thermalright supposed to be releasing a cooler for the card I may get and try. It might give me a little more room. |

Playing Crysis, everything was running just fine then poof, monitor says it has no signal. Opened up the side of my case and there was smoke in it, smelled like burnt plastic. So, I returned the card and popped my 8800GT back in and used $135 from the returned card to get another 8800GT. At 660mhz 2 of these do just as good as the 260 if not better in Crysis @ 1600x1200 and there isn't any other game that I play that doesn't already run at 60+ FPS so I'll stick with the 8800GT SLI for now. |
