Post your GTX 280 Temps with FurMark
I'm curious what GTX 280 owners get with Furmark this fearsome heat generating bench tool. I use the stability test and the max resolution for my display (1920x1200) and let it run until temps really stabilize. This may take 10 mins or more. When I got my card yesterday, It would reach 105C and throttle in less than 4 mins. I thought it was time for RMA like many of us. Tried it again today, now it seems to settle @ 96C. I'm still investigating this issue. Games did not go higher than 86C so far. I think Furmark may be the best tool yet to identify RMA candidates. Air coming out of the card so freaking hot. Ambient temp stable @ 23,5C
So what temps do you guys get ? |

Around 96c before case mod and on very hot day ~30c ambient , around 80-90 after case mod.

Games do not go higher then 65c. There are 2 120mm fans in the front. However they were only at 7v during the test as it didn't stress my cpu past low temp. Also pic is old, there's a gtx280 in there.
