Download x codec form *link*
Install it in with that command...

Download y package form *link*
Install it in....

Download Divx player form *link*
Install it in with that command...

Please somebody help...

There are several Divx players for linux. The two most important are Xine (xine.sf.net) and Mplayer (www.mplayerhq.hu). Likely one of those is already included with your distro.

Both players contain already the needed codecs.
