RH9 x wont start
 

Installed Redhat 9.0
Booted into the OS once - didnt touch a thing.

Next time that I tried to boot into RH9 it sits there telling me it cant find the default font.

I've tried a format and fresh install but the problem just returns after having started the machine up once after installation.

Any ideas?

My machine is the following: -
1400Mhz Athlon Tbird
512Mb SDRAM 133Mhz
ECS K7S5A mobo
Western Digital 120Gb SE 8mb cache
Creative Audigy 2 Platinum
Tekram DC315 U SCSI controller
Hitatchi 8X DVD
Yamaha 16x10x40 CDRW

Also, it doesnt seem to detect my SCSI card during installation.:confused: :(

I hate this problem...

In your /etc/X11/XF96config file

look for the Files section that has the font server add these ... workd for me - but is a kludge.
