Hello ;)

Can you tell me where to get the Latest beta driver for my Nvidia Geforce 7900 GS ?
I only saw 177.67 in the driver section of nvidia website , where can i get 177.70 from ?

Hi all ;)
Well, after upgrading to 177.70 beta i can't see any improvement , i still have bugs in openSUSE 11 kde 4.1.1 (bottome task bar blinking, you can see desktop under it ).
How come ?

It doesn't appear to fix visual bugs...it fixes performance issues mostly

It certainly does not fix performance issues! It uses huge amounts more cpu than older drivers to do the same job, and in fact may be unusable for your application. It appears to only add some support for the newest cards, at huge cost to the older ones. Between the new render bugs, the resource exhaustion problems and the performance hit, its hard to imagine why they released this at all. Don't use it unless you absolutely are stuck.

It fixes my Performance Issues.. (kde4 etc). And It is also true that it might cause regressions in other places and for other hardware...

It is common sense to use a driver that works best for you instead mindlessly upgrading, so If it doesn't work then post something regarding the performance regression and use your previous driver...

i don't have any performance issues but with dolphin that i find slow,
but visual bugs yes , of these i have planty
