Lets start a thread..


Edit to allow toggle aiming, ripped from GSC forum.

"i was looking through files beginning a modding process when i noticed in the user.ltx file in the documents folder the last line wpn_aim_toggle 0
and its functional, change the 0 to 1 and woo hoo no more holding down the mouse button, I was very happy to find this and just wanted o share the info"

Did you know the 'K' key is used as an attack command key!!? Its not in the manual at all. Not sure how it works, if anyone knows please chime in.

Very rough translation:
List of the innovations:

This is a mod with new textures for the weapons , sleep bag and new sounds for the firearms - very good sounds

Edit: Works fine now. I didn't install the ui_no movie file at first cause I already had one. That was a mistake. Installed this mods no movie file and all works great now after starting new game.

I tried this Russian monster mod but it crashes when starting a new game. :( Due to USA vs Rus version???

Certainly has a very cool new start but crashes right after the upper right timer runs out?? WTF? Not even sure what that upper right timer is for??

No, the mini HUD map in upper left corner works as normal with enemies only showing when you've made Line of Sight. :)

Tried this last night. In Swamps, I was at an area with a bunch of friendlies. One of them happen to say something like, "We're ready to go when you are." I hit the 'k' key and he said "Ok lets go guys" and they all took off running towards my next territory conquest task.

Funny this never happened first time I played through this part of the game. :rollseyes: Heck, the friendlies finished taking over 80% of the Swamp before I could even get there.

To get 3rd Person View:

Type this in the console to bind different views to F1-F3 keys:

bind cam_1 kf1 First person
bind cam_2 kf2 3rd with directional
bind cam_3 kf3 3rd with pan
