Re: Cubans Custom Config for Warhead
oh man wasn't expecting this to really work!
i literally got an extra 15fps in the snow level :), without losing noticable quality before i had to play on 1024x768 gamer settings, but now i'm playing on 1280x1024, enthusiast, no aa, very smoothly! i don't have fraps running, so i can't give an exact number, but it sure looks nice! i'de say 20+fps? and no more jerky motions! edit: just ran fraps, getting a constant 31fps :) btw, i'm running vista 64bit, 8800gts 512mb, amd x2 6000+, 4gb ram. all stock speeds yay for this config! thanks! |
Re: Cubans Custom Config for Warhead
Trying this myself - DX9 @ 1680x1050 2xAA nets a solid 25-35 fps and looks sweet.
Thanks Bio! |
Re: Cubans Custom Config for Warhead
The option of the mod VERYHIGH is very good for Warhead, no more excesive orange , and less carton aspect for the game . Finally , the game looks awersome like Crysis ;)

Re: Cubans Custom Config for Warhead

Re: Cubans Custom Config for Warhead
Wow, that rocks!!
in DX10 mode I was getting under 10 fps in gamer mode, in DX9 mode with this I'm 30-50 fps and it looks better :D |
Re: Cubans Custom Config for Warhead
it works it warhead??? right!? what level should i use 6?

Re: Cubans Custom Config for Warhead
It's not specifically for Warhead as far as I can see, just their mod for Crysis? Didn't like their config for Crysis one bit, they exaggerated just about every effect, gonna skip this one..

Re: Cubans Custom Config for Warhead
All installing it does is generate the autoexec config. I copied mine over, and it works just fine.
