Gaming resolution?

I use 1024*768*32 with Quincnuxx AA or 4Xs AA...

Actually I do 1280x960 whenever it's available. But I voted for 1024.

1280x1024x32 If i get a good framerate.

1024x768x32 most times

Limited to that cuz of my vidcard, it's quite slow

800x600 for me, damn old monitor.

Philibob 08-28-02 04:36 AM

Well I'm the only one that's voted for 640x480 so far.
I'm using the onboard nForce graphics though but it depends on the game. AvP2 has to be run at that resolution or it's a slide show.

I usually stick to 1024*768 32 w/ my current rig. Hopefully if I ever upgrade 1280*1024 'll be my new standard.

Once I got my new monitor I try to run all the games at 1280x1024 (or x960). But as everyone mentioned I will switch to 1024x768 if the framerate is bad ;)

I use 1280*1024 and hate it when games dont support it, NOLF2 Demo for eg.(although 1600*1200 ran ok) I will never drop bellow this res as on a 19" montior, the pixelles are just too big for me. With my GF3 I can run JK2 @~60fps average w/4xaniso. aswell as all others games with high fps so im happy and thats all the matters :p :D
