get projector to work

i have a toshiba satellite S2450-S203 and i have installed the NVIDIA proprietary driver (version 96)
i should have a GeForce2 MX/MX 400

this is my actual working xorg.conf
Quote:

Section "Monitor"
Identifier "Configured Monitor"
EndSection

Section "Screen"
Identifier "Default Screen"
Monitor "Configured Monitor"
Device "Configured Video Device"
DefaultDepth 24
Option "UseDisplayDevice" "DFP"
Option "AddARGBGLXVisuals" "True"
EndSection

Section "Module"
Load "glx"
EndSection

Section "Device"
Identifier "Configured Video Device"
Driver "nvidia"
Option "NoLogo" "True"
EndSection
i must connect a projector to my laptop and see on both screens
i've tried many configurations, also using the nvidia-settings but it won't work well or even at all

i don't know if it relevant but when i have installed the driver i had to write this new line in the screen section, otherwise when the sistem switches on i couldn't see the log in window
Option "UseDisplayDevice" "DFP"

ps
the projector is a Sony VPL-CX100 but it shouldn't be important...
