GeForceFX TVOut

Having trouble getting the TVOut on the GeForceFX 5200 to work under Linux (Slackware 9.0). I have tried NVTV but, it doesn't reconize the card version. Any Ideas?

Modify your XF86Config file to use TwinView.

eg.

Or do this stuff without twinview or do it in the "dual head" mode ;)

That way is described in Appendix R of the drivers. Setting up tvout without twinview is about similar to setting up a normal videocard. In the monitor section you put the refresh rates of the TV and in the screen or device section the tv specific options (tv system, connector ..).
