Can You Buy A FX5800ultra

Can you buy a 5800ultra at a retail store, like Best Buy ,ComUSA or do you have to order it or has it been recalled.Or is the R9800 the best you can get now.

Hell no!

I'm WAY too morally outraged and personally honked at nVidia to consider giving them money for anything right now!

DW... I think your reply to this post is uncalled for.
He ask a simple ? and u blow him out?

The 5800 Ultra is very hard to find.
I seached for you but could not find any.

Save the $ and get a regular 5800 with good cooling.
Most will overclock to near ultra speeds. "500/1000"

Tho my ultra runs at 560/1100 all the time. ;)

Yes, whether you can find a gfFX5800Ultra or not, the r9800 is the best card you can buy right now. Until the gfFX5900 is actually shipping.

Yes you are 100% blown Ati fan and it shows everywhere. Do a search on this guy at rage3d and you'll know what I mean.

Check out some of his famous quotes...

"[h] F&CKING supported nVidia in this one to the HILT there Brent, without your support they wouldn't have been able to keep it so low on the radar for so long.
Do NOT try and tell me that [h] played no part in this, you dance with the devil and you gotta pay the piper."

"Of course you are correct sir; but I still hold [h], anand, and all the other "pop 40" hardware sites accountable for passing on the total BS of nVidia's as fact...and Kyle was the F*CKING leader of the band.
I blame nVidia and I blame Futuremark, but I also hold accountable all the cheeseball side-players in this macabre death spire of an industry."

"It really is sort of pathetic that you gotta come over here to get the attention you crave Kyle, mayhaps you should examine that with your therapist next session?"

Yes 9800pro is the fastest VC at moment or another couple weeks. I like mine and paid big money for it but driver stability still belongs to nVidia.

Glad to hear i's coming soon. I almost got one off of ebay but there is no way in hell I'm paying over 520 for one.
I'm getting one for my bday the 13th. Tho it might be late. ;)
With it being 256megs I can get 18+ months out of it before I have to replace it. :)
Most of my cards get replaced every 12 months at least.
