What Happend to MS Virtual Machine/ JIT?

I recently re-installed windows on my replacement hard drive from Western Digital, and it seems as if microsoft is no longer allowing us to download there Java Virtual Machine, so there's no way to look at Java apps without a 3rd party plugin, im using Sun's Java plug-in at the moment, and it works ok, but it puts a bunch of folders in my accounts section and an applet in the control panel, it also seems a little slower, to sum it up, i'd rather have the MS one, anyone know where I can download it?

Regards,
Mike
