Linux driver 180.44... FIXES window resizing in compiz?

Um yeah. Resizing a window has been unusably slow in compiz with nvidia for years, suddenly now it works almost perfectly. Whatever you did nvidia it worked, I can finally turn off ugly stretch resizing. Now all I need is vsynced xvideo with compiz and I can finally abandon metacity forever.

Thanks nvidia devs!

enable vsync in compiz, disable detect_refresh_rate and set the refresh rate to your displays refresh rate ... should fix tearing in xv (and vdpau) apps in compiz (works fine here)

Enabling vsync in compiz doesn't help, even when moving windows around I get tear lines in the top 1/4 of the screen.
