Suspend and resume in recent beta versions

Do you also have problems with suspend & resume in recent beta versions (185.18.08, 185.18.04) of the driver? When I try to suspend my Ubuntu 9.04 either nothing happens or the lock screen is displayed or in some rare cases the GDM is loaded (the previous session is killed), switching to VC sometimes hangs the computer completely.

I have reverted for now to the 180.53 and suspend & resume works just fine.

PS.
I will post the nvidia bug report as soon as possible.

See: http://www.nvnews.net/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=132495

But 185.18.04 works fine here (just .08 is broken).

Re: Suspend and resume in recent beta versions

I hate to be the fly in the ointment, but I'm still having troubles with current releases and suspend (or more resume).

First suspend resume cycle works fine.
The second suspends, but doesn't resume.

I'm using Fedora 11 for this and I don't even need to log in. Suspending from gdm will see the above happen.

I'm using:

[rodd@moose ~]$ lspci -v | grep VGA
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV41.8 [GeForce Go 6800] (rev a2) (prog-if 00 [VGA controller])

I'm using 180.51 of the driver currently, but I've tried 185.04 and this was broken too. This has been broken for me for a long time, but I couldn't tell you what last worked.
