Looking for a Cheap Laptop

So, my gf is looking for a new laptop for school and we have been looking. Dell has very good pricing right now, but I don't know if it's the best option. Here are the minimum specs she needs for the laptop.

15" LCD
Intel C2D CPU
At least 2GB RAM
At least 150GB hard drive

We found a machine at Dell for $500, but if anyone can find a better deal it would be much appreciated.

Thanks :)

Just got my wife a Compaq from BB for $452 which included tax.
Athlon x2 2.0, 2gb DDR2, 250gb HD, and Geforce 8200.

She loves it and plays some games on it like WoW. Only bad thing is Vista can kick a battery's ass if left untweaked for laptop use.

Something like this would probably be a better deal. Then if she needs to do any sort of 3d or even watching hi-def videos she wont be screwed by Intels integrated card.
