Looks interesting, but I'd be surprised if it worked as well as a high end tower cooler like the Thermalright Ultra Extreme.

Interesting design, however I do see a glaring flaw. It doesn't look like there isn't any consideration for there being any resistors or caps around the CPU.

I was thinking of putting a chimney on my p182 as an extractor a while back to see what would happen.

Probably nothing eh.

The center is a large fluid filled heat pipe.

So far there's been a recall on the i7 mounting, and a mention of
some might leak.. (recalled).

However it's supposed to be like a giant heat pipe.

It's roughly 55-60 USD, I was going to get one from a pal in Japan
but not so interested really.

It may increase surface area. But the vortex gimmick is a bunch of BS imo.
