Why would you purchase something that expensive and then ask if it could be a questionable purchase.:(

I would personally only go with evga or xfx on the Nvidia side but thats me. I used to swear by PNY in the 90's but have run into countless issues with their memory.

Yeah, I was the same way, Maverick123w. I haven't really had any bad experiences with them, but I haven't heard anything but negative about PNY for the last 6 years or so.

Here's my list in order of Brand:

1) EVGA
2) BFG
3) XFX
4) MSI
5) PNY

There are some other Brand Names that I can't comment on, but others here have and they seemed to like them.

@ davido53, at least you got the 216 core version. You should be fine. The 260 (216) is a great card. I've had mine about 3 weeks or so and I get the same performance from it as I had with TWO 9800GTX in SLI. ;) I plan on adding a second 260 here soon. :thumbsup:
