General overclocks on GTX 285
 

I was wondering what kind of overclocks you are running on your GTX 285's atm I am running mine at stock speeds but would like to know what sort of range I should aim for.

700-800 core depents if you have a good chip or not
my 285 can reach ~790 but not 100% stable. Try 700 and up 10 Mhz steps a time

i think that 2nd poster is a little over enthusiastic. very few people are getting 750+ oc's on these. mine is 100% furmark stable at 705/1592/1350, but above that furmark crashes it, regardless of temperature. i have a good, but avg overclock. i think there would be some luck involved getting anything to clock above 1650 on shader or 720 on core and be 100% stable. even EVGA's FTW cards (which default at those speeds of 720 core/16xx shader) have widespread stability issues, and they're binned for those speeds.

i run mine at 720/1566/1350 gamin.... folding i do 700/1600/1350 stock coolers..

Check my sig.... I run these speeds when gaming... when idle I let it clock down as low as it wants too... :)
