Re: WoW: Cataclysm
Looking forward to it really.
Ive stopped playing Raids and whatnot quite some time ago, and I only occationally reactivate the account to do some casual leveling with alts, or start a new alt to play with a friend on another server.

So I mainly look forward to trying out 1-60 after the update, which is free, but Ill prolly buy it and play one of the new races, the start areas ought to be atleast as good as the DKs, also Ill prolly level my 80 to 85 and check out the new content on that end.

Some interesting and pretty big changes to stats, items and classes in that expansion aswell, interesting to see how that pans out.

Re: WoW: Cataclysm
I'm actually looking forward to this expansion except...

it take me forever to level. lol I do not get to play as often as I'd like due to just being busy in general. I'm *finally* level 79 after *months*... thought I was almost there. Now I'll have to gain another 6 levels. LOL And knowing me, I'll hit 80 right as this expansion is released (whenever that might be, probably next year some time).

Oh well. Life's tough, ain't it?

Re: WoW: Cataclysm
ive leveled 4 characters to 80, last one being horde, so I'm pretty much done with making a new character. I've only stoped raiding (just as we killed yogg saron too) cause my work schedual prevents it. I hope to get a schedule that better fascilitates raiding hours once again.

I'm not to hot on the idea of disfiguring the entire old continent, maybe if you wanna change some things around to changeup old quest lines (retake gnomeragan, dark iron dwarves build a massive city), but not for the sake of new high level content.

Getting rid of stat talents and removing stats from gear so they can be rolled into other stats on a per class baises also sounds exciting. I always hated when nothing usable for your class drops simply because its regen is given in spirit rather then mp5, or AP instead of strength.

Re: WoW: Cataclysm
If it comes out before SWTOR, then I'll play it...If not, then I'll just get TOR and skip the expansion. I'm can't wait for TOR, but I'm not getting my hopes up till I play...I wasted SO MUCH TIME on the SWG boards before release and played beta only to be extremely let down in the end...(And before anyone says it, yes, I know it's Bioware and yes I am optimistic, just keeping my guard up in case it doesn't turn out that great...)

Re: WoW: Cataclysm
Its more like WoW2. This is a good time for them to up the engine graphics quality since they are redoing all the 1-60 zones.

i can't wait for it, should be a lot of fun!!!

Re: WoW: Cataclysm
Honestly, the people who used to love WoW and feel Blizzard somehow ruined it, thats the natural evolution of MMOs, with every expansion/change, SOMEONE wont be satisfied, that someone turns into 2 someones, and so on.
It happend with EQ1, despite people still playing it, most people(at least that I know), feel EQ1 went downhill after Velious(the second expansion), and it will continue to happen with every single MMO, no matter how good the devs are.
