Can't Download W7 (Student deal)

So I purchased the $30 student deal on W7. I purchased it at work and just thought I would be able to go home and start downloading it. I am on the website now and for some reason it's not recognizing my CC# to login, order number, etc. Also, one way of logging in is to use your order number and password. What the heck is my password? I never made one...

Anyone else have this problem?

I just used the student deal (Canada) and it worked fine. I just clicked the link in the email and the order number/password was already entered.

The password should be in the confirmation email you received AT YOUR STUDENT EMAIL ADDY.

I'll check again. Thanks.

EDIT: Ya, I am at the STUDENT addy, nothing in there as far as a password... Also, when I click on it it doesn't enter my info in. :/

Make sure it charged your CC. It should have emailed you.

Figured it out. Called up Microsoft and was a mistake on there end. Now I am trying to figure out how to burn the ISO. I have read articles on it but can't figure it out. Who else here has the student deal? Any help?

Apparently you might be able to dl a 64 bit iso now to fix teh 32 to 64 issues people were having. Otherwise here are the directions:

Turn your Digital River Windows 7 upgrade into a bootable DVD:

1.Download oscdimg from SevenForums and extract it to C:Windows\System32 (link below)
2.Open an elevated command prompt by typing cmd.exe in your Vista Search box. When it shows up right click and select run as administrator.
3.Paste the following into the command prompt, be sure to put your username in:
Oscdimg.exe –u2 –bC:\Users\your_username\Desktop\expandedSetup\boo t\etfsboot.com –h C:\Users\your_username\Desktop\expandedSetup C:\7.iso
4.Press enter and wait for your ISO to be made.
5.Burn to a DVD with a burning program and you are ready to go.

Thanks man. :)

I was using that and had a typo in my location address. Figured it out and burned it. Just waiting to get home to install it now.

I wish I could utilize 64 bit this time around but my work machine has certain apps that won't work in a 64 bit enviroment. Until they get on the ball, it's 32 bit for me. I don't mind though, I only use it for work crap. :p

XP Mode is a good workaround for running apps that don't work on 64-bit Windows if you have Professional.
