Twinview and lost mouse

Hi there !

I've got twinview installed, with kde4.3.2, and my two monitors have different sizes (one laptop and one big lcd), so my total usable desktop isn't rectangular.
Yet, twinview seems to only allow for rectangular desktop... The good thing is, it prevents windows from being completly out of the visible area, but the mouse can freely go there.
Here is a picture showing the configuration : the blue part is my laptop, the red part is my lcd screen, and the grey part is the area that I can't see but where my mouse can go.
On windows, this area is blocked and the mouse has to stay in the visible area. This is actually very convenient.
Is there a way to have the same behaviour on linux ?
Thanks !

I guess that's more an Xorg behavior, not twinview, because I have the same behavior with my laptop that has intel graphics.

But nevertheless, perhaps the nvidia geeks here have some idea if this behavior is changeable :)

I hope so...
It seems that someone has managed to get it work... So it isn't a lost cause...

I use Twinview with a 1280x1024 LCD and 640x480 television (to the right) and don't have this problem. The mouse is properly bounded within both screens. Using Gnome desktop.

Well this seemed really very interesting, but it says I won't be able to drag windows from one screen to the other... :(

mocharhw, do you use twinview or separate X screen ?
