Can XP mode use virtual dual core?

I just downloaded and installed XP mode to see if it would be any faster then virtual box. I can't seem to fine any options to enable more than one CPU. I have a Quad core CPU, in virtual box I was using a dual core setup.

From benchmarks that I've seen VirtualBox is one of the fastest virtual machine programs around. Doesn't exactly answer your question but no I do not think Virtual PC supports more than one core.

VMware supports multiple cores. It will support your quad core in XP (I think you need XP Pro to use a multicore processor though).

I just checked Task Manager in XP Mode. It only runs single core.

If you want more than one core supported, try VMware.
