Firefox 3.5, nvidia 195.30 and broken text and icons

Can anybody tell me why the icon in the photo looks all "edgy" and not smooth? This is on kernel.org

I only recently noticed this. It was smooth earlier.

I am on latest xorg-server (running gentoo ~amd64) and nvidia-drivers-195.30.

Thanks,
devsk

Try pressing Ctrl+0. (That is zero, not o)

I have Geforce 8200, driver 195.30 32bit, firefox 3.5.7 and logo is smooth.
1. Clean up cache in your browser, then refresh webpage and check again.
2. Try in other browser.
3. Save this logo picture to file and check how it looks in picture viewers.
4. Send nvidia-bug-report

The problem here is Zoom. If you Zoom the browser in by one notch, this is exactly what the logo looks like. Pressing Ctrl+0 resets the zoom.

That did it dog! TY!

So, the zoom doesn't get reset on restart? That's weird! I must have pressed zoom by mistake.

Yes, Firefox on Linux can't zoom worth sh*t while it works fine on Windows ... I have brought this up several times and Firefox devs just give the proverbial finger ... they don't really care about the Linux platform so much ... hell the Windows client runs faster under WINE than a native Linux binary (and probably renders zoom correctly!)
