Help!!! Vista annoyance...go away let W7 be Boot...

Ok i needed the space and i noticed the Vista partition still has the Vista OS from my first install, it takes about 10GB..and i want that space.

My System first had Vista installed. Then later W7 Ultimate (separate drive). I was hoping that If W7 is good...then i can just go format my vista drive...but i can't.

As you can see, i need to move the System so that its under my W7 HDD.

I don't want to do a fresh install right now, i got everything setup sweet, no issues, system is perfect.

Does anyone have any ideas on how to move the MBR to the correct drive? I really want to /format that drive it has a lot of useless junk and a TON of files in there from Vista...

I did read this...but i am not sure if this is the way to go...

What if i reinstall w7 onto the same drive? Will it...do it properly then? ...u know kinda like overwrite...maybe..and i just run w7 update get the new stuff...?

I actually had to do something very similar to this, but I don't remember what all I did as it was several months ago. You basically have to do a few tricks involving moving the BCD files around. I made a thread about it a while ago if you want to search for it but I'm not sure if I posted the complete solution there, just my musings as I was working towards a solution.
