Crysis completely Maxed Out

I think I found my next computer. I should be able to max out Crysis and then some. It has 224,256 processor cores. That should do it I think :p

Well, its running a version of Linux, so maybe you could run Crysis through WINE and somehow come up with a software renderer so you wouldn't need a graphics card?

Yeah, but you'd hope that this supercomputer would have enough processing power to bruteforce the crappiness of WINE and give you at least 30 fps :-P

Yea but Wine was never really meant to play games. It was meant to run programs like Office and other things that have certain functionality that people need.

I could never get Crysis running properly in wine. Odd visuals and extremely bad performance (it was a slideshow).

I played Prey, FEAR 2, Wolfenstein, Dragon Age, Modern Warfare 2, and Mass Effect 2 at release and they all ran fine, with the exception of some crashes in ME2. Have you ever seen games in wine?

Does wishing make software better? wine isn't just for Linux, and Linux doesn't fail because wine doesn't match Windows on their assorted component implementations and quality of those implementations, because gaming is not its sole purpose. And I'm pretty sure Windows wasn't built overnight by a handful of volunteers.
