Hot Deal MLB 2K10 only $2.99

Gamestop is offering the digital download version of MLB2K10 for $2.99. It could be a price mistake but I got the game and downloaded.

That is a hell of a deal. How is Gamestop's downloading policy? Can you re-download the game at any time (like direct2drive) or are there time limits of some sort (like EA Store)?

"This game has 3 licenses available. This means you may install the game on other computers and activate it up to 3 times."

Well, that's the install limit, not really related to downloading policy. By poking around for info on the 'download insurance' that enoteware mentioned I found this:

Quote:

Download insurance is a service that provides for a back up copy of the Digital Good(s) in your shopping cart to be stored for future download. A back up copy of these Digital Good(s) will be available to you for download for up to eighteen (18) months from the date of purchase.
So it looks like you only get one shot to download the game unless you shell out $4 to buy the insurance. Not sure how I feel about that, but I'll probably buy it anyways later tonight.
