I will definately let you know my impressions of the GTX 470 once I have it installed.

First a rundown of my system, it`s a pre-built Dell XPS 730 gaming system that is roughly 2 years old. It has a 790i Ultra motherboard, E8400 processor, 8 GB Mushkin DDR3, 2 x 74 GB WD Raptors in RAID 0, 500 GB WD Black, 1 TB WD Black, 1000 watt power supply.

Video cards that I have had in the system in various combinations, 3 x 9800 GT`s, GTX 285, GTS 250, Radeon X850 XT PE, Radeon HD 3870, Radeon HD 3870x2, Radeon HD 4890 Vapor-X.

For the most part I `m not an overclocker, although I have dabbled with it some, I normally run everything at stock speeds. Stability is more important to me than high benchmark numbers because I also use this computer for multimedia, record TV shows, edit photo`s, and maintain a music library of over 300 GB.

I recently upgraded my monitor to a Dell U2410 ultra sharp for some 1920 x 1200 goodness in anticipation of getting the GTX 470.

Hmmm I wanted to keep sli out of this thread but I guess we can just go ahead and place 470 sli experience here also. I am not hard to please! :D
