I still use starfield simulation as my screensaver... I would love to see an updated version of that, that is more 3d and smooth.

I just found these which are pretty awesome!

edit: oh, except for the "don't forget to register!" in the middle of the screen :(

I still use Particle Fire, after many many years. I've never found anything to beat it.

I like Beam!, the space dogfight one, but it takes too long to load and exit to really serve as a screensaver. Particle Fire is instant on, instant off. 3D accelerated, and looks so freaking purdy. Oh, and it works on dual monitors.

just thought I'd add the Really Slick Screensavers to the list. they are all totally free with no nag screens or anything. the only catch is they don't seem to work with Aero enabled, you have to switch to the Classic theme.

iknorite?!

I mean, if it was something like, you get the videos and wallpapers all for $10 - that would be fine ... But, $10 each... :headexplode:

Nice eyecandy, but a little too busy/bright for my taste.

I would love an improved version of starfield simulator.

Hyperspace from www.reallyslick.com is quite a nice replacement for Starfield but it eats 30% i7 cpu even at low framerates :s

Hyperspace is awesome, by tweaking the settings you can make it look pretty much however you want. a real stress test for your system if you crank up the geometry resolution :D
