kubuntu gui doesn´t work anymore after installing driver for nvidia
 

Hi guys,

After i installed a driver for my nvidia gt330 m gpu, in the kubuntu gui my linux stopped working.

In kubuntu i found the recommendated driver for my card and installed it, now when i start up linux, i get a command screen, where i can enter my login and password, after that a graphicly really bad nvidia logo appears and after that my screen turns black. in recovery mode i get a command screen, but i am unable to start my gui from there. Anyone has an idea about what happened and how to solve this. Mind you all i am a linux novice.
