How To Make The GIMP's Layout Like Photoshop's
I thought I'd share with you a video I made, on how to make The GIMP look similar to Adobe Photoshop's default layout.
The GIMP's default layout is not very good and for the most part, people will most likely come from using Adobe Photoshop, like I did many years ago. The GIMP comes with most Linux distros and there is a Windows version. More info here http://www.gimp.org/ http://img716.imageshack.us/img716/1...slayout.th.png Here is a link to my video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Yeuf_vxsy4 I hope it's useful to you. :) |

I'm actually working on something now and using Photoshop brushes. If you didn't know, The GIMP can use Photoshop brushes.

Gah. You can actually put three layers in the one panel layout rather than 3 panels with separate windows. It's tricky but you just drag a panel into some unclear part of the other panel.
