Jesus guys...
I'll just get to the point my roommates cats managed to knock over my 37" 1080P Vizio LCD HDTV. I know it's not much but i'm a college student and this was my baby :[
The LCD has that cracked look to it(like if you were to sit on your phone and break the LCD).. other than that it still powers on

I've got very good PC know how and have my a+..

Think it would be possible to fix this with out spending more than 200$?
I'm still paying the damn thing off :[

I seriously doubt it would be worth fixing. Time to get a new one.

If it's already fooked, you can try taking the bezel apart and see if the PCB is jacked. While the pcb might be cracked, you might be able to push it back into place and get some of the screen back. I'd just suggest poking around and looking to see where something looks broke inside.

I had dropped my axim on the cement and had a solid line of dead pixels on it. After some time they started coming back, and the screen almost looks like it healed itself. Chances are the PCB is just a little cracked so it was able to make connection again. It didn't land directly on the screen though, so if you had something nail the front of the screen it might not work that way.
