256.53 breaks textures under X3/Linux, works just fine under 195.36.24
3 Attachment(s)
Hi,
I've recently upgrade my F13 workstation (DEV in the signature below) to 256.53, up from 195.36.24. The machine in question is: Xeon L5530, 12GB RAM, GTX 470 / 1280MB, 3 x 320GB, Fedora 13 / x86_64. Once I started using the new drivers, all the texture in X3/Linux disappeared / turned black and white. I've sent a bug report to LGP (the company that ported X3 to Linux), but I've got a feeling NV people will better suited to fix this issue. (Or at least point LGP into the right direction) As far as I know, LGP never released a demo of X3, making it harder to you to locate the source of this issue. Please let me know if there's something I can do to help you debug this issue. Two SS and log attached. - Gilboa |

P.S. the nvidia log was generated with the v195 drivers.

Thanks!
I ran search and got nothing - most likely a typo on my end. - Gilboa |
