260.19.12: total screwup (even no telnet)

Devs,

FYI
I upgraded from 256.53 to 260.19.12.
Sys seems to be total unusable. X seems to be starting but screen is black. No any X app is starting. What is more interesting no telnet (only greeting, no prompt) - so I can't even examine logs and forward the to You. Trying sleep gives long list of cpu reg on screen.
I checked installed files - it looks like install is OK (files seems to be present, no files from 256.xx).

Please boot your OS to init 1, read /var/log/messages which are about your last boot with nvidia drivers.

I met the same situation with all 260 series drivers.
My kernel is 2.6.35-trunk-amd64. Hardware is acer 4741 with nv GT330M.
Error messages from /var/log/kern.log is blow:

Oct 20 09:39:06 Mars kernel: [ 1166.734343] NVRM: loading NVIDIA UNIX x86_64 Kernel Module 260.19.12 Fri Oct 8 11:17:08 PDT 2010

Anyone can give some suggestion?
