nvidia and xorg-server 1.9
 

After upgrading from xorg-server 1.8 to 1.9.2, I get a problem with compositing. Under gtk+ applications, sometimes tooltips and popup menus show only a shadow instead of the actual tooltip or menu.
Anyone else is getting this behavior? Is there a workaround?
Hoping to get an answer so thanks in advance. :)
Edit:. still happens with 260.19.29 driver.

This is related with cairo 1.10 and the buggy gradiant workaround with RENDER < 0.10 IIRC

ArchLinux already uses that patch yet I still get this problem.

Edit:. not debating the cause of the problem. but the patch doesn't seem to be helping.
