Rotation and VSync semi-broken
Is Rotation + TwinView + VSync supported as a combination? I would be a sad monkey if it wasn't.

Right now, the right half of my screen is tearing while the left side is tear-free. If I disable VSync in compiz, I definitely see tearing across the whole screen. This has happened ever since I got the two monitors that supported rotation, which was a few months ago.

Fedora 14 x86_64
NVIDIA GeForce 9500GT
Driver: 260.19.36
Monitors: Acer a223w (rotated vertically) w/ DVI connector
Rotated Left using xrandr.
Twinview enabled.

Re: Rotation and VSync semi-broken
Does anyone use rotation and seen this same issue?

Re: Rotation and VSync semi-broken
I am still seeing tearing under Fedora 15, Gnome 3 (gnome-shell), and the 270.41.19 driver.

Re: Rotation and VSync semi-broken
Seems to be all fixed with the 302.07 driver. Finally. No more tearing....

Re: Rotation and VSync semi-broken
Yes, the new rotation code should do the right thing, and overall even be tear-free for a regular X desktop when eg. moving windows, not only OpenGL.
