260/216 physx question

Never had any experience with PhysX before and was wondering if a GTX 260/216 would make a good physx card. Thanks

Re: 260/216 physx question

Its currently the no compromise choice for physx, any more is a waste.

Used to be 8800gt/9800gt...

I was wondering how SB handles Physx.

To me it seems like slight overkill still, Why they don't make a cut down semi dedicated card idk, I'm sure enough people (ati owners) would buy them.

Unless you have a gtx260 lying around I really wouldn't bother though.

unless that new batman game is killer and needs teh physx..

Re: 260/216 physx question

PhysX has never loaded my 260 (192) more than 50% in any game I've played, so yes it's well on top of the job :)

I just happen to have a 260 laying around so that's why I wondered.

I sold my 260 for a bit more than the price of a 9800gt so I'd say it's definitely worth holding onto for physx.
