I have the same issue and found a bug on bugzilla (can not find it atm does not say anything important anyway) and it was suggested that this was a nvidia driver bug.

GTX260
2.6.38
xorg-server 1.10.1-1
gnome-shell 3.0.1-1
nvidia 270.41.06-1

I am not going to post a load of logs if you want any please say so.

Dolinux,

Thanks a lot for your information!

Do you know if there is any temporal solution for this issue?

Thanks,
Wei

Hi, seems it is only graphic corruption as restarting the gnome-shell with alt+f2 'restart' fixes it. It is the only solution I have found.
